The diesel combi heater is a warm-air heater with an integrated hot water boiler. We design this diesel combi heater for installation in motorhomes and caravans. This heater is a combination of hot water and warm air, which can provide hot water for life while heating the compartment. People can use it while driving. You can also use city electricity to start this diesel combi heater.

Application

The diesel combi heater is a warm-air heater with an integrated hot water boiler. This unit was designed for installation in motorhomes, boats, and caravans.

Important notes for users:

Be sure to read the instruction manual carefully before installation and use.

Two version for Electric mode, ～220V/110V, Pls mention the required voltage type before order.

Power Supply

Heater power leads (positive and negative line) must be connected to the 12V batteries directly. Battery more than 2 years which lack of electric frequently should be changed a new one in order to ensure normal use of the heater.

Fuel Supply

The fuel for the heater can be from the fuel tank in the car or from optional 5L independent fuel tank. The fuel pump is used for transmission of fuel and regulation of supply quantity of fuel.

Fuel pump installation

The optimum installation angle for the fuel pump is from 15 to 35 degrees, the allowable installation angle is from 35 to 90(max) degrees.

Fuel standard

Petrol should accord with standard DIN EN288
Note: Fuel brand which used should meet the requirements of low temperature in winter. Biofuel is forbidden!

Energy Options

there are 3 modes to select for the energy options, Petrol mode, Electrical mode, Hybrid mode.

1. Petrol mode: the combi heater will run automatically on this mode first
2. Electrical mode: Manually select the 900W or 1800W heating mode according to the power supply capacity of the RV
3. Hybrid mode: When the power demand is low (for example, maintaining the room temperature stage), electrical heating is a better choice. Until the city electricity cannot meet the requirements, the Petrol mode will be on. During the power adjustment stage, the Petrol mode will be off first.

Working Principle

This heater is a combination of hot water and warm air, which can provide hot water for life while heating the compartment. It is allowed to be used during driving. This heater can also use city electricity to start.

There are 3 working modes to select during working, they can work separately,

1. hot water mode
2. warm air working mode
3. hot water + warm air working mode

In hot water and warm air mode, the heater can be used to heat both the room and the hot water. If hot water is needed only, pls choose the hot water working mode.
Attentions: when the ambient temperature is below 3℃, please empty the water tank to avoid the water freezing in the tank.

Plateau mode for the combi heater:

NEW combi heaters in 2021 (both diesel and petrol types), we improved the auto plateau mode, it will automatically switch to plateau mode when driving on High Altitude Area (≤5000m) with the help of the sensor inside the heater. No need to make any manual adjustments on the control panel as before.

Warning:

This diesel combi heater can both heat hot water and a compartment of motorhomes and caravans. People must not install this combi heater in buses (vehicle classes M2 and M3) or in vehicles for transporting hazardous goods. It has additional electric heating elements for operation with a mains voltage of 230 V～
